After a visit to the festival's medical tent, doctors confirmed that her waters had broken and she was due to give birth imminently.
Although Ms Iremonger wanted to give birth on the festival grounds, medical staff insisted that she was taken to nearby Yeovil Hospital.
She eventually gave birth to a healthy baby boy, Reuben, at 7.30pm on Thursday and then returned to the festival the next day.
Speaking to the Daily Mail she said: "I was just starting to enjoy myself at Glastonbury when my waters broke and I realised the baby was coming.
"I never expected this to happen but it is a great start to the festival. It has really made my weekend. Reuben is a very happy camper seems to be enjoying his first Glastonbury."
The birth came as something of a surprise to the couple who hadn't been expecting baby Reuben to be born until 11 July.

glad all went well
of her to take off to Glastonbury at nine months pregnant in a heatwave!
She was lucky it wasn't a completely different story.
Also, a newborn with pretty much zero immunity should not be exposed to the elements within hours of birth.
When you decide to become a parent, you need to sacrifice some things in life (at least for a few weeks!!!) and put your babies health and wellbeing first.
Anyone who does not see how awful her actions are either a) completely immature and/or b) bloody awful parents themselves.
well done Victoriaand I'm sure Reuben is beautiful.
