Chart Bite - Sunday May 31st 2009
It is as you were at the top of both singles and albums charts this week. Dizzee Rascal and Armand Van Helden retain the title of biggest selling single as 'Bonkers' spends a second week at the top, whilst nothing can shift Eminem as 'Relapse' also remains the biggest selling album in the UK for a second week.
The highest new entry on the singles chart goes to Swedish star Agnes who flies in at Number 3 with 'Release Me'. She gained fame in her home country as the winner of the second series of Swedish Idol in 2005 and this single is her first international release. Its success is all the sweeter after her original deal with Sony BMG, signed after she won the talent show, was cancelled in 2008.
It is a TV talent show that is responsible for the highest new entry on the album chart as the self-titled debut album from classical-rock fusion quartet Escala debuts at Number 2. The group first sprang to fame on Britain's Got Talent last year and performed on the show during the semi finals of this years competition last week. As a result they also sneak a Top 40 entry with their rendition of Karl Jenkins' 'Palladio' which is at Number 39.

She looks very similar to Leona Lewis.
I hope she knocks Dizzee from the top spot next week.
She also has a good voice like Leona Lewis.
She's the perfect wife for a chav like me!
