Chart Bite - Sunday June 21st 2009
Another brand new Number One on the official UK Singles Chart this week as David Guetta and Kelly Rowland climb six places to the top with 'When Love Takes Over'. By rights the single should have been a new entry at the top this week, but its digital format was rushed online four days early thanks to sales of a spoiler cover from Ari L threatening to distract from the "real version". Perhaps unsurprisingly the Ari L version is nowhere to be seen on the Top 75 this week.
The highest new entry on the singles chart goes to another club anthem, 'Heartbreak (Make Me A Dancer)' by the Freemasons and Sophie Ellis-Bextor. The track is the sixth Freemasons Top 40 hit and features their fifth different credited vocalist. The song made its online debut as far back as last summer, being presented by Ellis-Bextor on her Myspace site as an example of the work in progress on her fourth album.
There is no change at the top of the album chart with Kasabian's 'West Ryder Pauper Lunatic Asylum' reigning supreme for a second week. The highest new entry is 'Let It Roll' at Number 4, a Greatest Hits collection covering the whole of the late George Harrison's solo career. It is the former Beatle's highest charting album since 1973.
Check out Chart Watch UK later for the full story behind all the biggest hits of the week.

Anyone else on the list going to Glastonbury?
We could have a Chart Watch meet up if that doesn't sound too sad!
Thanks to a certain Ms Ga Ga, dance music is making a come back. Here's hoping no more of the likes of Dizzie or Harris whose so called Dance music is a complete rubbish! We want real tunes and this week, they deliver!
More...more please!
