A New York judge has ruled that a gun found on board Lil Wayne's tour
bus may be admitted in the rapper's trial on charges of gun possession.
The hip hopper was, as previously reported, arrested back in 2007 when
an officer claiming to be able to smell marijuana boarded the vehicle
and discovered Wayne, aka Dwayne Carter, in the act of trying to
conceal a handgun. Carter has pleaded not guilty to the charges, and
his attorney claims that the officer in question fabricated the
marijuana allegations just so she could enter the bus. A trial is set
to commence on 20 Apr.
