Gun admitted as evidence in Lil Wayne trial

Posted Wed 25 Feb 2009 12:40PM GMT by theCMUwebsite.com in a-CMU-blog
A New York judge has ruled that a gun found on board Lil Wayne's tour bus may be admitted in the rapper's trial on charges of gun possession. The hip hopper was, as previously reported, arrested back in 2007 when an officer claiming to be able to smell marijuana boarded the vehicle and discovered Wayne, aka Dwayne Carter, in the act of trying to conceal a handgun. Carter has pleaded not guilty to the charges, and his attorney claims that the officer in question fabricated the marijuana allegations just so she could enter the bus. A trial is set to commence on 20 Apr.

They have to make an example out of someone. I guess being famous can have its downfalls. Cops are getting bored when they are making up thing to search people now. People have a right to protect themselves.

Never heard about Wayne being violent. All the same, wish him well!!
