i love the gorillaz, always have, but to be honest i don't really like this new stuff. one of the thingds i like about the gorillaz is the words in the lyrics and the vocals but with this stuff its just music and i don't particularly like it. i could be wrong and end up liking their new album but at the moment i would rather they stuck to the usual stuff.

Well, as soon as I saw this headline, I was over the moon! Thinking that they were acctually going to try top off demon days! Their best album by far in my opinion, but when I heard the tracks, I kept thinking, just a long intro, then it will get good, but unfortunately not :( I have always loved the Gorillaz, but this is throwing their decent origionality away, I aggree completely with merseysider90, they should have kept to the older style. This really was dissapointing

Very impressed with 'Stylo' and 'Broken', especially the later. I can't wait to hear the new album in full. Damon is a GENIUS - end of.

my god is this stuff the soundtrack for a zelda game or something ?

what are they thinking. there is no gorilaz without the vocals. the music is ok, but without the vocals becomes very dull

To all the people complaining about the lack of vocals: Did you listen to the same tracks as I did? There is clearly a lot of singing by Damon Albarn on the 3rd track.

That said: I'll admit that the 1st and 3rd track sounded a little 'flat', but Stylo was OK. I presume these are pre-release versions and not necessarily representative of the best material on the album.

I'll reserve judgement for now and wait for the single to be released.

let's be honest! yes straight to the point that was total rubbish I WOULD RATHER LISTEN TO A FISH FART.If you know what i mean??????????

I like the Electric shock, it's different! Still love their tracks when they sing though! I love them and always will, with whatever they create.

I have to admit I don't get the first track at all. The first half of it sounds like a warmup for the school band, and although it eventually tightens up, that wacky, off key, intentionally disjointed sound can be taken too far sometimes. Stylo is harder and better and would benefit when they add vocals, which is probably the point they are making because Broken sounds great and has all the Gorillaz hallmarks. Promising.

I did not like the first too tracks but liked broken a bit differant to what they normaly do they are still a great band

Got a Jazzy/Classical fusion......?

Okay... I love them, honestly I do, but I really hope that when we hear the finished stuff it's a lot better. Maybe I'll end up liking it later but this stuff put me to sleep but, no matter, they still rock.
