Graham norton had a big slipper to fill..and he did a great job..did anyone notice that Jade nearly got a fiddle in the face when she was decending down the stairs ?! its the guy on her left...she didnt miss a note..thought all in all it was a great show.the set was amazing !

I did not see the Eurovision Song Contest but after watching the video I think it was well worthy of its success

The Eurovision contest was a much improved show than what we have seen over the past few years, and our entry wasn't bad at all. Is there any rule that says a song used before cannot be re-vamped and used again? Because years ago the Shadows did a vocal entry, "Let me be the One" and it was very good, and did well. I heard a local band recently do an updated remix version, but keeping the same format and beat and it has everything that could be a winner. Catchy, right beat, and clever too, with close harmony, and a hand clapping verse.

Jade's got an amazing voice it's just a shame about the song.
I think next year Simon Cow should get involved and find us a winning song.

Jade, your performance was first class. I picked you to win when you first came on TV and you are without a doubt a star of tomorrow, Don't let showbiz spoil you, always keep that lovely smile and may you shine to the top.
The very best of luck.

Didnt think Norway deserved to win, the song was utter nonsense and the guy has the scariest eyebrows you have ever seen! and whats with the guys doing press-ups? was almost as bad as Denmark's westlife rip-off! clever how they made the song with an eastern european sound to get the votes though. Thought UK should have been either in first or 2nd place for quality of music and performace along with Estonia....mmmm Estonia :-)

UK Win??????? Simply because lloyd weber orchestrated it for them?? No freaking way!!! They did not even deserve the 5th they took. Talent, they aint got and its abt time they realize

well the voting change has worked to some extent. I personaly prefered Icelands entry but as Norway was getting the 12 from all over we can't complain too much.

To the question above, yes. Each song entred must be new.

LOOK CAREFULLY AT 1:22, HE STOPS PLAYING BUT THE VIOLIN KEEPS GOING!

i think Jade should have won

so sad

I rather liked Portugal! Still, Jade did a great job. Good for her and Andrew. How Graham Norton can say it's not political this year, it's all about the music made us howl. All the Balkans gave each other 12 points, Cyprus gave 12 to Greece, etc etc! Doesn't the man have an atlas??

I'm so glad we came 5th, I think it's a great acheivement from being last last year. But Norway so deserved to win and Alexander is SOOOOOOOOOO FIT!

Norway Smorway, what a terrible song , there was at least twenty songs more worthy of winning but as usual it gets won by an utter rubbish song ,just stop the eurovision contest and spend the millions on something more fitting.

i actually liked the song and the guy did not have scary eyebrows for post NO.8

Typical brits/english. As usual they think they "have a right" to win everything, and when they don't they constantly slag it off. Face facts, you cultureless sore losers are useless and talentless at everything, so get off the world and let the rest of us get on with it please.

I think that man should just stick to the violin - he does that well, but the singing's quite out! and what is the point of those men on the floor?

20. Jonathan -
Well Done Jade and Andrew! The song was great and it was nice to see some semblance of a genuine song contest. Pity some of the smaller countries still don't get the idea that it was nt to vote poltically but votng for the song. But hey may be next year. I think this shows that if we field strong songs and strong performers we get the respect.

It was also good to see Graham step in to the crystal slippers left by the tog meister and bring a wonderfully witty commentary. As far as the commentary goes I think it is fair to say. The king is Dead long live the Queen!
