Was a very good show actually - well done to Russia for hosting - cost over Euro30 million! Blimey, maybe better Royaume Uni didn't win!!!

Norway's song was okay, after I heard it for a second time, but there were other songs far better. As for UK (Royaume Uni) it all looked promising from the first few votes, 10, 10, 8 etc... but then clearly Norway were onto a winner. Maybe I heard a different version to the rest of Europe. Incidentally, he is Russian descent ... living in Norway!! Interesting.

Maybe, if UK adopted the Euro, and really considered themselves European, fully integrating, then we would win. We are Europeans/Europhiles by lip service alone.

Jade did a good job; the song was okay, not stunning, but she belted her heart out and hit the notes. I think Malta should have received more than it did and Germany too (if swing is your thing) obviously not for Europe!!

Oh well, off to Norway next year then - should be nice. Love Scandinavian countries.

Eurovision- best viewed through the eyes of a bottle of Southern Comfort with friends - cannot for the life of me see why ALW would want to even get himself involved in such a debacle - is he trying to endear himself to the people? He has dropped in my estimation from a rather large pedestal, why would a West End esk song complete with appropriate key changes win Eurovision with or without him playing the piano? Face facts it wouldn't. We are too 'conservative' mainstream to excite the wacky Euro tribe, look at Denmark trying it on too! Really feel ALW should go to ground for a while, stick to what you know, stop getting involved in non- runners, losing cred fast!!! Well done Graham Norton I physically laughed out loud at times made a dull Saturday a bit of a laugh that is if you didn’t listen to Russia’s entry! Little Norway guy did well!

I think the UK entry finished about where it should have (or lower) as lets be honerst not very good.
The record version with all its "adjustments" faer better.
Strange the UK entry the only "coloured" entry from all of Europe.

Well done to Norway, Iceland, and UK, mostly neighbourless states filling up the Top 5 and showing that the corruption of voting practices in the past, made an art form by East Europe, doesn't have to make Eurovision a farce.

Noways song sucked and so did most of them it all comes down to favouritism at the end of the day even though the uk's song wasnt 100% great it was alot better than the songs that were in the top spot.
And for all those saying the UK doesnt have any talent, you know what to do.

I believe that Jade done a great job,I had no problem with the song, there again I'm an old romantic, however to say there wasn't any tactical voting going on was an understatement, I'm not going to name any paticular country, but look at most of the one's that were at one time behind the Iron curtain, Oh the Skandanavian country's seemed to be that way inclined also. That said Norway's contribution was fun and catchy but was it really a first place song I do't think so, there again I'm not the rest of Europe !!!

"Typical brits/english. As usual they think they "have a right" to win everything, and when they don't they constantly slag it off. Face facts, you cultureless sore losers are useless and talentless at everything, so get off the world and let the rest of us get on with it please."

LMFAO!!!! LMFAO!!!!!!!!! hilarious! im english yet its so true haa!

Much improved contest, worthy winner, first eurovision winner in years who is likely to have a career thanks to the contest. As for the UK, an improved effort, but perhaps a victim to the fact that most countries get two performances during the week (semi-final and final), whereas UK only has the final?

It was all a load of rubbish they should just call it a day!!!

Well, I'm glad that Norway won! I mean, Jade did very well and everything, but in my opinion, for a contest like Eurovision, you need a more catchy tune and a bit more action on the stage, to win.
Plus, the guy can play the violin very well and the dancers were quite good themselves. The performance was also rather unusual, so yeah, I liked it.

91. Alannah -
lol i was gutted that they won. The guy was breaking that violin bow. Lol it was so funny. Well done to the UK they deserved it! Whooo
I wanted germany to win :( gutting

we didnt deserve to come fifth - we didnt even deserve to be in the top ten. the song was awful and the vocals were all over the place. dreadful in my opinion.

i didnt like Norway to begin with but i heard the song a few times and i guess it was probably the best entry, however my favourite was finland or moldova (:

To be honest, i think Britains song was too boasty, i mean shes might have well gone out and sung IM GONNA WIN LALALA LIGHTS ALL ON ME PEOPLE. No doubts shes a great singer, but all the winners have had catchy beats and i think we need someone like gary barlow to right the song. But I don't think anyone has the right to say the british dont have any talent and we should be wiped off the map... thats pathetic.

95. Yahoo! Music User -
sure, he cant sing, but can you say HOTT!!!!

96. maggsie -
I have not watched the Eurovision Song Contest for a long time but its the best I have ever seen, the stage was amazing and the songs were the best I have heard. I did not particularly like the winning song, however he was brilliant on the violin and it was a cheery song!

97. david -
what a wast of time that was, ,a great man like andrew and all she did was repete the same lines over and over again ,did he run out of words ???

98. WARWICK -
I AM SO PROUD OF JADE AND SO SHOULD THE WHOLE OF THE UNITED KINGDOM. SHE DONE FANTASTIC AND ITS JUST A SHAME SHE NEVER WON, ALL THE BEST JADE

Oh you have to give it to Graham too - he was superb, his witty, sarcasm, in the nicest possible way, made me laugh out loud. I was on his show a few years ago, and he was such a nice guy, witty to the end. Made me feel really welcome.

Well done Graham!!

Back to the constest - not the best song to win, but clearly that is the type of music the rest of Europe are going for - think about it, it is kinda like your typical EV song, isn't it.

UK deserved better postitioning - Jade did a great job even though the song was a bit West End(ish) - what happened to any votes for Malta, Germany, Sweden? They were good songs. OMG, did you see Russia's entry, with the face turning old? It was freaky to say the least and what a screecher the singer was - awful! I bet Vladimir Putin is sooooooo embarrassed this morning!

The UK need to get a real feel-good-factor song, something that mentions, love, peace, harmony, fishing, Euro, jobs in UK for all, free housing blah, de blah!

Actually its true that we think we have a right to win everything and if we dont we slag it off. But we're NOT cultureless sore losers. actually we are cultureless. i take that back. We are NOT talentless though - The Beatles, anyone?? and get off the world? LMAO! LMAO!
