I'm glad someone else saw Graham Norton for what he really was (no. 59). He made derogatory comments all night (and he never shut up), his worse were 3 comments about the size of the Maltese entry, comments like bringing out the 'big guns' and she'll never say no to a malteser were out of order and I hope the UK press catch him on this and tear him a new hole.

before the voteing started

Post 108 - get a life! It was sheer inoffensive talk over. You either like Graham's wit/sarcasm, or not. Terry Wogan has said far worst things in the past!

Hey, lets face it Norway was better than England and deserved to win. And this little boy wasnt the only one who used playback...so stop being jalous and be happy for 5th place. Jade was the best singer, thats for sure but didnt make her performance any interesting.. By the way Israel and Moldavia was great as well.

Oh was the Russian singer a woman?

I was quite happy for Norway to win. For once the UK did quite well too.

i really thot jade was the best and the song fairytale by norway was an utter rubbish. she did really well and came in the top five. ALEXANDER IS SOOOOOO NOTT FITT!!!!!! (no offence)

I voted for Turkey and am so pleased to see them in the top five (4th. place), well done.!!!
Graham Norton, you did a good job but please don't do a "Wogan" by talking over english speaking commentators...

I agree with comment 7 the song was rather boring, not very imaginitive lyrics - Given jades Amazing vocals if she had a Good song maybe a top 3 would have been possible?

Seriously, Eurovision is so boring, listen to the charts before it and you can clearly see that the charts is better....and wait, there are british groups/singers which get into the charts all over the World.

If this really was a competition about talent which we cared about so much, we wouldn't even bother using Jade ewen

114. CHRISTINA -
i thought Jade did well, the esc was the best it has been for years, Graham Norton did'nt go to overboard with his comments for which i was grateful (as he could have i am sure with his sharp sarcastic wit).

Numbers 19 and 64 slating our country on here is out of order as this forum is for contest comments, your political views and derogitory comments of our country are in the wrong place, and it has to be said that because of our so called 'scummy' country your are able to place these views because WE ALLOW freedom of speech,

Those that do not like the contest can always turn off the tv. (oh and the reason we don't do the semi finals and automaticlly qualify is cause we contribute quite a large amount of cash) I actually enjoyed it this year well done all concerned.

I agree totally with your comments about Graham Norton, I was GobSmacked when he announced the Malteereeser song! Until then, I was enjoying my first night of Eurovision for 10 yrs.
I liked the Norway entry!!

WELL DONE JADE, AND UK! Im so glad we did so well after the awful last place we finished in last time. And GRAHAM NORTON was brilliant! Please bring him back next year. He did an awesome job.

117. Natasha -
norway so deserved to win. the song was actually really good n the lyrics were cute. pluss alexander - cute, fit, amazing..."fairytale" :D so glad he actually won!!

118. Jade -
I loved Norways song...I couldn't stop singing it all night and I think it did deserve to win because he performed it really well. I couldn't believe how well we did - I expected to be in the top 10 but the top 5 was brill, and we were only 5 points behind Turkey which I thought was very good also.
Azerbaijan's, ours an Turkeys were better than Icelands song but it was goo none the less.

119. STUART -
Poor song, rubbish singer, flat as a pancake but who cares. It's all a political exercise just like always. Norton too much rabbit, too clever for his own good, trying to do a 'Wogan'.

Post 64, believe me, the majority of well balanced Brits don't want anything to do with Europe, unfortunately our government is pushing us that way. Going back to the 80s is not what we want for our music or style. I'm proud to be English but if I had to be another culture it would be American or Australian!
Well done Norway all the same, would have liked us to win naturally but at least we lost to talent rather than politics or rascism. Well done Jade and Webber!x
