i am surprised there are a lot of people out there who do not want to have a good time or let others have a good time. ESC is just a one night entertainment that will not be heard again until just a day next year. this moaning about the voting and how poor the performance the winner is is just plain rubbish. norway may not have the best vocals but the act as a whole was good. for once in my life, i actively participated in a reality show by voting for norway. britain was brilliant but has to split the vote with iceland who got thesame act so we have to come 5th. for those comlaining about turkey, UK gave her 12 points for heaven's sake. ?!!!??? i'm sure at the back of most people's mind, the show was good irregardless of these excuses. so lets look forward to oslo for ESC 2010.

To the comment who says the english are cultureless???... sorry, where are you from? I really dislike it when some people seem to make sweeping statements about a race of people when not everyone is the same and certainly does not have the same opinion. I thought Jade did a great job but there was other songs that deserved to win. I frankly thought Iceland's was better. Norways' although catchy was very twee, but i'm not bitter. I think some people think we cry because we didn;t win. I think you'll find we very happy that we didn't do so badly this time. In fact whats hilarious about this person's comments, is that he includes 'brits' so not only is he/she saying the English are cultureless, but so are the Scottish, Welsh, and Northern Irish!!!! Wow, this person sure has an issue with races of people. In fact, it should be you that should exit this world, you fascist pig.

the a list of music like the stones, def leppard or somthin or otgher is we are going to win it. not a ballard but a rock ballard (why do you think lordi won in 06 (cause they were compleatly differant to all entries and a refreshing for new music to enter eurovision) hel we could get some indie or rap gropup to help us in the next eruovision.

Note 19. Where does all the hate come from? Such venom is not healthy you know. I think it is a bit harsh of you to be so prejudiced against an entire nation just because you don't agree with what people have said. Don't most people support their own countries? And yet there are people here saying that they think other countries should have won. People should be able to express their opinions freely without being insulted in such a way. All you have managed to do by poisoning this forum with your prejudice is to show everyone your ignorance and lack of intellect. Well done! Nice one!

France didnt win thats too pity . I wish france won. Armenia was very good i voted for them. But i really happy Aleksandr Rybak - belarussian singer with russian soul won. Triumph of slavic song! ! ! Russian ppl are glad for this eurovision. Ivan Urgant with Alsu are the best presenter. And Russia didnt want to win this year thats why Prihodka had not much interesting perfomance. She is not popular in Russia and she is ukranian. But the next year we will be the best again.

where's Armenia?! I can't believe they didn't succeed to get to the first three... but it was the audience, not experts, who voted. I'm disappointed.

I thought the guy from Norway was a great violinist, but not such a great singer. Jade did do well I have to say. We need to remember its about the TALENT and not what people look like. I am sick of people coming on stage half naked when they havent got any talent whatsoever. Looking good is one thing - Music is another - such a shame we are so judgemental in the wrong way.

I never thought anyone could replace Terry Wogan, but Mr Norton did a great job, didn't think much of the Norwegian song, that guys eyebrows need some urgetn attention!

If we cant win with andrew loyyd webber at the helm there's no chance. Jade got elbowed by one of the violinists as she came down the stairs which gave a "carry on euro" start to the proceedings, and while i know she did her best she still went off key majorly on two occassions and the song sounded pretty shrilled, why do they have to shout the song, it's horrible. So we came 5th but only beacuse of the webber, we are never gonna win, every bugger wants our help and our money but apart from that we're a pretty hated country, sad but true :) xxx
