Jackson Rehersal Footage

Posted Fri 3 Jul 2009 9:52AM BST by Mitch Carter in The Guestlist
Footage of Michael Jackson rehearsal from 'This Is It' tour has been released by concert promoter AEG.

This footage was shot at the LA Staples centre just two days before he died.

The singer appears to be in good physical shape, engaging in some complex and energetic dance routines.

What do you think of the footage? Does this finally dispel rumours about Jackson's poor health or is it a carefully staged release from AEG?

"Good physical shape"? Are you kidding? He looks deathly thin and had aged a heck of a lot. "Energetic dance moves"? No. Slow boring stuff, not even a shadow of his former self. A strange, tired, ultra-thin tragic man. Rest In Peace.

looks to me it would have been a great show, don't think he would have managed all of the planned shows but the ones he did I think would have been great, it just makes me feel so sad No matter what people thought of his private life No one can say anything other than Wow when he danced a joy to watch and that unmistakable voice my thoughts are with his kid's .

How can people say he looks awful?? to me he looks no different to what he normally does over the last few years, he's always been thin. Don't forget he's 50 YEARS OLD, his dancing isn't going to be as slick as it once was, for 50 and how he "apparently" lived his life he looks alot better than how the media have portrayed him over the last week.

A Legend/icon and inspiration to many and arguably to the most talented musical performer/entertainer that ever lived has died, let the man R.I.P.

Michael Jackson looks fit and well. He was at the pinnacle of his career and a fantastic example of professional reintervention in whom every man can look up to for inspiration. Michael needed a close loved one near him constantly at this fragile and sensitive time in his life where everyone in the world were waiting for this fantastic showman to rise again.. Sometimes we should not numb the pain to be able to know where out pain is.... love you Michael.. May he rest in peace Amen

me and my husband think its was disgusting what vodkamonkey01 says about michael jackson rehearsal he was 50 years old,he looked really good considerly he was always in pain but the dance did look limited but it was only a short clip,l think he was singing brillantly which he always has done.Because he is a true legend and to me he has proved alot of people wrong he still had it.Its such a shame some people have no respect for michael jackson.I think now people should let him rest in peace as we have lost a true legend .R.I.P Michael xxx

I think he looks GREAT! He was so talented and he loved his art which comes through hugely in the footage. He even gives his rehearsal's his all. Wish i could dance like him. I will miss him. I grew up with him and I have many happy teenage memories in my mind with his music as the soundtrack. I saw him live in the 1980's in Cork (Ireland) and he was fantastic. I also saw Freddy Mercury a few years earlier and he was amazing too. We have lost another great one. Thanks Michael. I'm glad I grew up with you. RIP.

i think no matter what has been said, about his personel life, and his health, and all the other things, michael truely was blessed , as one of the greatest entertainers, song writers, singers, dancers, that has ever lived.such an individual standing out from our human race, giving so many people joy in there lives from his music. and we would all be missing something without it.. . everyone in the world new of this man, what an amazing legacy he leaves behind. . he will be spoken of for hundreds of years, and will be noted down in history, how many of us can say we have used our lives to accomplish anything half as amazing as he has. if he had done anything wrong, he will be being judged in the after life, whatever that may be. he was a true inspiration. i hope he finds the peace and rest now , that he could not find in life and was always searching for. a life is over. bringing deep sadness to all his family, and the people who followed his work, and we all need to show some respect to an individual who definately earned it. no matter what our views. he is and always will be, A TRUE ICON. . . .rest in peace. . . . . . . . . . . . . .

39. Karin -
Way past it?!* Yeah makes you wonder why the likes of The Stones, Springsteen etc keep going, as well as these 80's bands making come backs, like Duran dDran & Spandau Ballet who all look fat, old and balding! Would rather have MJ any day than this lot!

Wonder what nbr 19 jon means by "... better of without his TYPE!!!" - And what type would that be????

People will always criticise as that unfortunately is the nature of the human race!!

You will always be a star MJ!

.

He really was coming back. This Tour was obviously going to take place, and many people were involved. Those people performing with him, in this video, must be devastated. This was going to be something great! He was obviously totally into it. He would be... He is Michael Jackson. It is extremely sad...Extremely Sad !!! , that this has ended this way. I am certain, this is not what he wanted.

God Bless you Michael and thank you for what you have left us...
In todays High Tech world, we are fortunate, that you and your legacy will always be available to us...

You are Eternal. God Bless...
