Re the comment about racist remarks always being thrown by white peop[le, having lived in various African countries for many years, I can assure you, there is no-one more racist than black people about black people! i.e. different tribal origins etc. European insults are comparitively slight to what I've heard and suffered over there (Badly kept white pig, smelly white woman etc.) So keep everything in perpestive, if you have one, that is.

Whilst personally I dont like the guy for his general aggressive and uncompromising image - he has a point. Some of these artists do have the stereotypical 'black attitude' which in most cases seems to reflect the - 'I deserve respect' image portrayed by many of these artists in these ghetto/street type backdrops with the honeys shaking their 'booty' to the beat. We've all seen it havent we......?

As Lydons image does not appeal to all - nor does the black attitude these artists portray in songs/videos. Lydons was not a racist comment - an outspoken comment maybe - but isn't that just Lydon?

Both the duffy and this incident was caused by people who dont know him approching him expecting him to be nice!This is john lyndon for gods sake, we all know what he is like ,if he doesnt know you he will see you as invading his space uninvited and tell you where to go!

Firstly I'm shocked and dismayed with John Lydon. With his roots firmly based in working class angst and the struggle to forward oneself within the confines of society, I always felt that he was and is a fellow brother in arms. I was overwehelmingly impressed by his Public Image Limited phase and genuinely thought he was at one with the public at large. When I hear the words "Black attitude" coming from white people I interpret it to mean, a black person with no attitude, comfortable within their own skin and quite free without the need to behave in a stereotypical fashion. What the white person is actually saying is that they are too white and that poses a threat. Not only does he come with his fabled, potent black sexuality, but also brains and talent. Lets riot! I hope its lies and a more a case of social engineering - Lydon another figure head for disaffected white people to rally round.

Doesn't racism work both ways? Incidents like the murder of Stephen Lawrence made me furious and ashamed to be white, but by the same token, many white people are assaulted, attacked and killed by black people and no-one starts screaming racism or making the same amount of fuss?

What is wrong in this country, is that mind controlling Political correctness has taken over and there are those unscrupulous members of the black community who use it as an excuse to get away with certain attitudes. Its almost as if some black people think that they can behave in any way that they want and it doesn't matter because all they have to do is scream racism! and their actions or behaviour will be exhonerated.

It really is about time that political correctness was banished forever. It causes so much resentment, antagonism and discord between black and white and is used in the press to stir up hatred and mistrust and most of all FEAR!. How many times have you all seen headlines like "Kids not allowed to sing Christmas carols because of Political correctness?" And then goes on to tell a story of how white kids cant sing Christmas carols because of ethnic minorities, who aren't Christian, being present in white schools. How many times as a result of such headlines have you heard ordinary people then say, bloody blacks, they come over here blah de blah...

Its all rubbish. Whats the answer single race schools? Is that what they want? I hope not. I want my daughter to have her life enriched by other cultures and races, but other races have to remember that we are a predominantly white Christian country. Stating that isn't racist its fact.

Get rid of PC and let people start to get back to getting on with each other without having one party or another screaming racist just because its a fashionable thing to do.
