Winehouse Waxwork Unveiled

Mitch and Janis Winehouse have unveiled a life size waxwork of their daughter Amy at London wax museum Madame Tussauds today.

Mitch Winehouse, described the waxwork as being "absolutely incredible" adding "I can't get over the tattoos. They are perfect."

Mitch Winehouse also stated that his daughter is due to begin work on her third album within the next few months.

"She has two or three more live gigs then she will be working on her new album. She's got quite a few songs already."

I listened to a selection of 'her' songs ~ one is a HUGE rip off of a Motown / Marvin Gaye & Tammi Terrell style. On the others she's trying to be Maxine Brown or Irma Thomas (vintage 1964 for anyone young... check them out!) And WHY does she sing with a 'deep south' American accent? The 'look' is a mix of Ronnie Spector (the Ronettes) and a street walker. I find NOTHING in this that says 'talent'. What a SAD state the music British business is in....

Pink she's not rubbish, which most people havent actually said. The majority are telling the truth.... she's a druggy who gets up infront of millions of people inc children & looks a total state whilst doin a big "shout out" to her also druggy/prisioned husband?!?! & you think she's good?

She deserves to be there because of her music, her talent. She is there as a piece of art thats all! Nothing to do with what you lot think is right or wrong.

I think its disgusting that this coke head is honoured, she keeps on taking the rubbish and she is still honoured, and yet a great athlete who made a mistake and has paid for it cannot go on and win a gold medal for his country.

Her talent is aspiring...her personal life is the biggest, walking anti-drugs campagne going.
Its ironic how all the people commenting on her being a role model, and glamourising drugs are giving her extra publicity by commenting on her..and you wonder why she is plastered all over the media?

Give her a brake at least she isn't using tax payers money to fund her habit, which is more than can be said for most junkies!

this is so unfair because she is no way a role model. if dwain chambers who is a good athlete has been baned from running because of drugs why does amy winehouse who is also a drug addict have her statue done. is it because she is white so she can get away with anything? what kind of country do we like in? damn them with their equality because it doesnt exit.
