Britney's Real Voice Revealed
I've often wondered just how some of the big glossy pop productions such as Britney and Madonna translate onto the live arena. Sometimes the vocals are so thick and processed they must be really hard to recreate in a concert scenario.
In fact what many of these performers do is sing to a backing track which contains most of the vocals already in place. The sound engineers then mix the live vocal into these tracks to give it a slightly live flavour.
The video below is a great example of what happens when you strip away the backing track and you can hear exactly what Britney would sound like without all the digital flummery.
