Ringo Starr: Miserable Old Git

Posted Mon 13 Oct 2008 5:55PM BST by Mitch Carter in The Guestlist
Ringo Starr has made a bizarre outburst on a video posted on his website requesting that fans stop sending him mail after the 20th October.

"This is a serious message to anyone watching my message right now, peace and love!, Please after the 20th October do not send fan mail to any address that you have, nothing will be signed" said the former Beatle.

I can understand that Ringo doesn't have the time to address all the fan mail he receives but it really necessary to go to such lengths? Surely just ignoring the fan mail would have been a better idea rather than posting this video which is unlikely to endear him to world.

Calling Sir Paul
Is this the same Richard Starkey you, John and George allowed to play with you all in the great days of the Beatles
Surely not he'd be more grateful JUST as you are!!!!!!

how sad...for the weakest beatle..he wasn't even the best drummer in the group..he should be grateful for getting away with it...ah well Paul is still doing the biz for us..bye richie

Ringo Who ?

Oh that third rate drum banger, fortunate to take Pete Best`s place some long time ago.
Your ideas and ego are well above your station & capabilities Richard Starkey.

I can't believe that this tallentless little prat receives mail from all over the world.
Like everyone else I am trying to think of something extra specially derogatory to say about the monotone gargoyle.
Then I think to myself why should I bother, he won't be reading this and even if he did his head is so far up his bottom to care.
If it wasn't for the fact he was in the right place at the right time, with his limited intelligence he would probably have spent his life working as a binman. (Not that there's anything wrong with refuse disposal executives)
I say I'm not bothered and then I write all this, I'm obviously lying, I could write go on all night. Peace and Love
