Animal rights campaigners were shocked when Amy and Pete Doherty got up up-close and personal with a litter of unborn mice earlier in the year. The public however seemed to be more concerned about the cleanliness of her fingernails.

2. Glastonbury Elbow Action

Checking herself out of a drug rehabilitation centre to play a shambolic set at Glastonbury 2008 quickly turned into a fiasco. The evening climaxed with Amy elbowing one fan in the face during a performance of Rehab.

4. Amy Forgets the Words

Taken from the Mobo awards in 2007, this clip features a seemingly half-cut Amy slurring and then forgetting the words to ‘Tears Dry On Their Own’.

In perhaps the most shocking video of all, Amy is recorded by husband Blake singing a racist football chant. An apology is subsequently issued.
