Katy Perry in Knife Controversy
Pop sensation Katy Perry has caused outrage in the UK after a photo of her posing with a knife was discovered on the internet.
The picture was part of a series of photos taken to promote her debut album One of the Boys but was discarded as a leading image.
Perry who is best known for her single I Kissed A Girl which topped the UK charts earlier in the year, is still to comment on the picture.
Richard Taylor, father of knife victim Damilola Taylor, told The Sun newspaper "This woman's behaviour is unacceptable.
"She must be out of her mind to pose for a picture like this. There is nothing glamorous about knives - they wreck families."
What are your thoughts on the photograph? Is Katy at fault for posing with a deadly weapon or are media being too sensitive? Could this picture influence young people to carry knives or is it simply a harmless PR stunt?

Get real people. If this photo makes people carry a knife then we had better start banning war films, rap culture etc etc and remove Crocodile Dundee movies from all video shops.
Oh, that last bit may have already happened!
i think its quite a good pic. its goes with the theme of being one of the boys. another thing is she is american and from what i know they dont have the issues of knife crime that we have here in the uk.
Is it supposed to imply that to be 'One of the Boys' she needs a knife?
She's playing with brainless cliches. Chav.
I think people need to calm down a bit.
Seeing As It's Usually Boys Who Carry Knives Around, All Katy Perry Is Doing, Is Being One Of The Boys.
Definately Not A Major Issue. If This Picture Was Founded 10 Years Or So Ago? Would It Still Get The Same Publicity? Would Of Been A Totally Different Story If She Had Used The Picture? But She Didn't.
Leaveee Her Alone... && Before People Pass Judgement On Her, Wait Til Her Side Of The Story Comes Out... As I'm Sure It'll Be Around Soon.
The photo's out now, what can we do? STAB her? Send her to prison? Ban her from ever making a public appearance anywhere ever again? People just over react about this sort of thing - the biggest crime was ruining a perfectly good picture of a very pretty girl with an ugly knife. Rather like making her pose alongside Gordon Brown!
