Unless you've been living in a cave for the last few days, you'll have found it impossible to miss the furore over Russell Brand and Jonathan Ross' controversial outburst on Brand's Saturday evening radio show.
The pair have been heavily criticised due to a series of answer phone messages left for actor Andrew Sachs in which Brand claims to have had sex with Sachs' granddaughter. The full story can be read here.

Was Russell Brand right to resign from the BBC and should Jonathan Ross follow his lead?

To be honest it was pretty funny- just a prank phone call.
Ban them from the bbc? Black list them from working for the next 10 years? what a moronic comment.
Move on people, it was a silly thing to do and the BBC should be questioned on broadcasting the radioshow.
they will apologies and forgiven... they r too much of a value to the bbc
I have now heard the so called show and i am disgusted how many times did they call that man?? if they had been talking about me the way they had discussed his grandaughter i would have been mortified.
I agree that it is different strokes for different folks but come on please that wasnt funny it didnt make me laugh.
They are a pair of bloody idiots who are not soley to blame. They should have been reigned in far sooner by the BBC.
To think i pay a t.v licence for those idiots to publicly insult other people makes me fume.
You are truly a pair of prize pratts and should be ashamed of your selves and sorry for what you have done.
Oh and that doesnt include feeling sorry for yourselves.
Johnathon Ross is a great interviewer, yes he sometimes pushes things too far, but anyone who watched his interview of Colin Farrell will see just how subtle and brilliant he can be. And Russell is equally brilliant. We're bloody British, our sense of humour is our most redeeming feature as a nation - don’t take it away from us! If you don't believe me about Georgina milking this for all it's worth, check out her facebook page and tell me she isn't! ... i hardly believe her grandfather was suprised by the call!!
For example when Daniel Craig was on the show last week, we learnt very little about him or the film but we did hear some amusing gags from Ross. This is the same with most of his interviewees.
The show is little more of a courtship between Ross and the interviewee. Just wanted to clear that up.
