Unless you've been living in a cave for the last few days, you'll have found it impossible to miss the furore over Russell Brand and Jonathan Ross' controversial outburst on Brand's Saturday evening radio show.
The pair have been heavily criticised due to a series of answer phone messages left for actor Andrew Sachs in which Brand claims to have had sex with Sachs' granddaughter. The full story can be read here.

Was Russell Brand right to resign from the BBC and should Jonathan Ross follow his lead?

To think of them being under contract to the BBC for mult-imillion pound salaries makes me cringe in horror. Why waste all this money gleaned from the hard working public on so called "celebrities" whenwe have so much talent eagerly waiting for the opportunity to present shows with sensible levels of humour whilst appealing to a wider audience without resorting to the depravity shown by these two men. Thanks again to the producer and director for deliberately exposing this programme. Bravo!
Ross next-- he should fall on his tongue.
personal thinking I would have suspended both without pay! I understand this hasnt been the case with JR
BUT what about the Director?producer of the Prog that allowed this to be airred Shoudnt He/Her be dealt the same
Bout time we found someone cheaper anyway!!!
It's ridiculous that it's become this big and the Prime Minister is commenting on it. Georgina Baillie is using this to get famous.
They are both brilliant and if they get sacked from the BBC, ITV will snap them up.
