I agree, the police are bum-holes, and really, how could Duffy be daft enough to think such an evil old bastard would want a hug? However, Rotten doesn't half spout some shizzle! Someone needs to teach him how to shut up, people have been treating him like a legend for years and its spoilt him silly. I mean, were the Pistols ever that great? Other than a couple of decent singles, they were just an ugly pile of [profane]e. A lot like Johnny Rotten.

stupid has been with no respect for other artists apart for himself and his old band he needs to move on or in fact go away he has had his day years ago and i think he knows it so he insults everybody else on the music scene just to adraw attetion to him self lets hope he just fades into the back round where he belongs

No offence Juniors....The sex pistols along with several other bands did define a generation....He is a twisted old goat and Duffy doesnt know him so why touch him and try to steal the camera away.As for crying get over it....

I used to think that John was the true peoples poet when he fronted the pistols. real, hard hitting and just a little scary, with a message that we, of his generation, understood - at the time. I respected what he claimed to stand for even though I never agreed totally with his point of view. He, and others, were responsible for the biggest kick in the balls that the music elite deserved and together they carved the industry wide open for the non-shiney & others to follow. But it bothers me that whenever he's exposed to the industry's freak show that is celebrity awards, and the like, he really believes he's being himself - rude, arrogant and bitter, I wonder why he doesn't realise - or that nobody will tell him - that he's a very fortunate - miserable old twat who, despite his 'fortunate' place in music history, is still milking vast buckets of cash from an industry he claims to despise and no doubt will live very comfortably for as long as he graces this earth. Why is he such a grumpy old fart? Sid would kick his arse if he was still around today. It wasn't that long ago that he was the 'pop' newcomer. Give it a rest John, you don't have to be 'rotten' forever. You had your 15 minutes of fame and it was truly wonderful - at the time - Time for the new breed to shine. Show them the respect you claim you deserve and take your bollocks home for a horlicks.
