Katona Booed at MTV Awards

Poor old Kerry Katona. Despite arriving at last night's MTV awards looking suave and stylish, the reality star was heckled by the 10,000 strong crowd.

Katona was jeered by the audience as she presented the gong for Best Video to Jared Leto of rock band 30 Seconds To Mars.

It was only 2 weeks ago that Katona was seen slurring her way though a shambolic interview with This Morning, sparking concerns for her health.

Although boyfriend Mark insisted it was the side effects of the medication, former publicist Max Clifford said

"People around her are telling me that she is drinking more and more, earlier and earlier."

Mitch says: "In many ways Kerry has been her own worst enemy and she's certainly become the person people love to hate but I think it's time to give her a break.

Perhaps all she really needs is a big hug and lots of love. Kerry, Mitch is here for you!"

WHAT A SAD BUNCH OF MUPPETS. leave the woman alone, amy winehouse is FAR worse than kerry. leave her to sort help instead of giving her hassle.

she should not ever have been booed, kerry hasnt always made the right choices, however she has always taken responsobility for those she has made. the girl is a victim of the crazy celebrity culture that we all had a part in creating. its now time to give the girl a break, the worlds a big place, shuffle up a bit eh!

I dont particulary like the girl as a fan, but however she must have something there as at the end of the day shes famous your not Kevin, jealousy gets you nowhere. Just hope she sorts it out, everyone makes mistakes, no matter how many, we are not perfect!

what, she is being booed for having health problems, wtf? Do people go into hospitals and do that?!? no, well I hope not. You are either a fan or not, there is no need for such strong reactions. Personally, I wouldn't be there in the 1st place but thats my taste.

I think people just have to get a life! there is so much uproer every time something happens to her, its as if the world revolves around that junkie! get a life and move on, concentrate on your own little lives, people!!! And yes, the crowd was out of control, they should have not made a single noise at all, completely disregard her. Shes looking for attenstion and as long as she is getting some sort of reaction she will not snap out of it (if ever at this stage). Leave ger alone!!!! Shes not a celebrity, shes a junkie.

Why is she presenting awards? She has about as much charisma and personality as my golf shoes. It's time she received her P45 from the entertainment industry and just got back to living her life as a normal person away from the public eye.

She definitely shouldn't have been booed - I wonder how many who booed her have a clean slate themselves ? She obviously needs a lot of help and a boost to help her sort out her problems. Jeering and booing is NOT the answer. Show her some compassion.

The crowd should have booed her, the THIS MORNING event was a staged publicity stunt aimed to get people on her side, to boost her career. I ASK AGAIN WHAT CAREER?

no she should not have been booed give the girl a break, she does not deserve it, she needs to get the right people around her and im not sure her husband is one of those people, Kerry kick him to the kerb and get your real friends round

She should get out of the public eye, she is only now known for her 'mistakes'. Why Iceland use her in their adverts I don't know, she is hardly good mum material!

Maybe she should have a rest from all the celebrity scene. She has young kids who must see how their mother is being treated. For their sake have a break and spend time with the children. Maybe that lazy husband could try and support his family.

if you can't stand the heat, keep out of the kitchen, she has been given too many chances now, many people would be grateful to of had the opportunities she has had, all she does is abuse them, she deserves what she's getting
