Katona Booed at MTV Awards

Poor old Kerry Katona. Despite arriving at last night's MTV awards looking suave and stylish, the reality star was heckled by the 10,000 strong crowd.

Katona was jeered by the audience as she presented the gong for Best Video to Jared Leto of rock band 30 Seconds To Mars.

It was only 2 weeks ago that Katona was seen slurring her way though a shambolic interview with This Morning, sparking concerns for her health.

Although boyfriend Mark insisted it was the side effects of the medication, former publicist Max Clifford said

"People around her are telling me that she is drinking more and more, earlier and earlier."

Mitch says: "In many ways Kerry has been her own worst enemy and she's certainly become the person people love to hate but I think it's time to give her a break.

Perhaps all she really needs is a big hug and lots of love. Kerry, Mitch is here for you!"

people in this country are so fickle in all aspects, wether it be football or celebrity,she is not what i would call a talent but on the face of it she is a genuine down to earth person who makes a good living from doing not alot,fair play to the girl,but to boo because she appeared on tv pissed does not warrant a witch hunt.

If any of us ordinary folk behaved the way she does we would have had our own children taken away from us by now! She moans how she is treated but she is the only one who brings it onto herself. Time to grow up young lady and think of your kids for a change instead of yourself and your selfish boyfriend. What example are they both giving to the children.

People said the same things of Britney Spears and she's turned her life around with the help of her father. I'm sure Kerry could do the same with support. I think both girls were just desperate to be loved.

She should have the children taken away from her? Who are you jjm1966@btinternet.com to judge her by what you read in the papers and the way she is edited to look on TV... she is probably an awesome mum despite her problems. Its sick that clearly she made the effort to go the Awards and looked stunning to be slated like that, its sad thats what. Everyones given Britney a break how about Kerry? Shes made mistakes yeah but not a single one of you actually know her personally.

The audience were out of control. Leave the poor girl alone. No-one knows the full extent of Kerry's illness or medication needs. Media speculation has made the whole Kerry Katona situation blow up out of proportion. GIVE HER A BREAK!!!
