Katona Booed at MTV Awards

Poor old Kerry Katona. Despite arriving at last night's MTV awards looking suave and stylish, the reality star was heckled by the 10,000 strong crowd.

Katona was jeered by the audience as she presented the gong for Best Video to Jared Leto of rock band 30 Seconds To Mars.

It was only 2 weeks ago that Katona was seen slurring her way though a shambolic interview with This Morning, sparking concerns for her health.

Although boyfriend Mark insisted it was the side effects of the medication, former publicist Max Clifford said

"People around her are telling me that she is drinking more and more, earlier and earlier."

Mitch says: "In many ways Kerry has been her own worst enemy and she's certainly become the person people love to hate but I think it's time to give her a break.

Perhaps all she really needs is a big hug and lots of love. Kerry, Mitch is here for you!"

Well obviously by booing it brings her more into the public eye. You may say she is famous for nothing and has no talent BUT isnt that what the public eye and media thrive off?? Negativity!!!
And NO booing isnt the answer!!!

agree with Rory G. this is someone who is famous for being famous ,its not as if she has displayed any signs of real talent lately and har 15 minutes of fame are now well behind her, about time that she quietly faded into the background

I don't think she should have been booed, she needs a lot more support from her family and most of all - she needs to dump that gold digger Mark.

i wonder if those who were booing her where doing it to distract from the fact that there but for the grace of god go i!!!
While they were pointing the finger at her they should notice the four fingers that were pointing back at them!

I totally believe Kerry should go into hiding, get herself sorted out for the sake of her children and her well being, she doesn't deserved being booed no one does, she is a troubled mess, but this is society today in its realist form, her life hasn't been ideal so she shouldn't be condemmed for her upbringing, as that is exactly what is happening, we should be blaming her mother that created and didn't care about the mess she was bringing a daughter into.

she and she alone chose to go down the path of self destuction-the quicker she accepts that she is no longer the big celebrity she believes herself to be the better,she should address her drug and drink issues away from the publics view--then maybe go back to iceland as a checkout operator,being as she can"t handle success.

I don't understand why anyone would want to boo her. She seems like a nice girl and hasn't done anything to anyone. She just has a few problems and needs help getting them sorted out, that's all. Give the girl a break.

Has everyone forgotten that she was in a very successful girlband!?!? Talentles she isn not, but still.......booings a bit OTT. If she is an alcoholic then she should be getting help and support and not victimisation. And to answer some questions regarding why she is still in the public eye.........we are all commenting on this and that proves that news sells, bit good or bad!

Some people out there need to take a look at themselves, just because she is on telly doesn mean she doesn deserve help, Britney got it so why not Kerry. she"s got feelings like everyone else, some people are so cruel and i would hate to think how they treat there own if they have no sympathy for a girl whose life has gone from a happy one to a very unstable one, give Kerry a break, she def needs people to stand by her, we all do at times in our lives so all you people out there who booed her and think she deserved it, theres not one of you who is better than anyone.

I hope Brian Mcfadden & [profane]y britches are happy for what their infidelity have reduced her to. I feel for her, I don't think this new fella is helping matters though and think she needs to spend some time with her children on her own without him to reflect on what she wants and how she can work her way back up that spiral she has gone down.
