You Give Touring A Bad Name!

"Bon Jovi are the best live band in the world. This one could run and run", purred AEG Live's Rob Hallett recently of the dates. Snap, Crackle and Pop presumes it is in these terms that we can find reason behind what have been called the "ludicrous" ticket prices for the concerts. Jovi fans are said to be up-in-arms about the figures being demanded, with general admission costing between £45 and £200, which isn't so bad until you consider that the best tickets in the venue are reportedly going for almost £1300. That's without the booking fee.
The band's website has apparently gone into meltdown as a result, with one fan raging: "Normally prices like this would be expected from the opportunists on eBay, stealing tickets from real fans. I am going to stand up for what I believe in and use my earnings to feed my kids, rather than lining some fat cat's pocket". Meanwhile another wrote: "The prices of the tickets are ludicrous. You really let us down this time, guys". The group's latest album, "The Circle", addresses the world's ongoing financial woes, an irony that has not been lost on their cash-strapped followers. It seems you really have to pay through the nose for this...
