Britney Goes Down Under

Local media claim people stormed out of the Burswood Dome in Perth, incensed at her display, which was labelled "boring" and "stiff", apparently lacking both interaction and real singing. One fan, Josh Blee, told the Sydney Daily Telegraph: "It was cr*p... She has let us down". The fall-out has even lead to New South Wales' Fair Trade Minister Virginia Judge calling for official concert legislation to warn of lip-synching. "Live means live. If you are spending up to $200, I think you deserve better than a film clip", said Judge.
"The NSW Government would be happy to look at options, such as a disclaimer on a ticket which would warn consumers a performance is pre-recorded", she continued. Britney is said to be "extremely upset" by the news. "She's a human being. I'm embarrassed, with such a big international entourage here with Britney, to be part of the Australian media when I see that kind of totally inaccurate reporting", said tour promoter Paul Dainty, while her manager Adam Leber insisted: "It's unfortunate that one journalist in Perth didn't enjoy the show last night. Fortunately the other 18,272 fans in attendance did".

I just can't believe that she even mimes talking to the crowd!
