Is Justin Timberlake Back?

Posted Fri 16 Jan 2009 4:20PM GMT by Johnny Famethrowa in Touching The Void
The internet is surely the best thing in the world EVER. Not only did it allow music fans with short arms and deep pockets to download 40 billion songs illegally last year (that's 95% of all digital music in 2008, fact fans), according to a new poll by some petrified industry number crunchers. But it is also now regularly spewing forth the incomplete comeback songs from the world's biggest acts, often weeks if not months in advance of their actual street date.

Today, Justin Timberlake became the latest ‘victim', with the leak of a scratchy piece of work entitled "Bigger Than The World". The track, which could be the first new material from arguably our most important male pop star in almost two years, sounds unfinished, although there is no mistaking the rumbling Timbaland beat, Justin's nicely pitched falsetto and the seductive sonics. However, as some have pointed out, the lyrics ("Now I know I'm just a girl / Trying to make my way through this life / Now i feel bigger than the world") suggest either this demo is meant for Rihanna or he's had a sex change.

Speaking at the back end of last year to MTV, Timberlake said he planned to concentrate on working with new artists in 2009, having launched his own label, Tennman, in a partnership with Interscope in 2007. "I could change (my mind) next week, but I don't have the bug to jump in and start the whole process again, and touring again. I do love it, but it's tiring", he explained, before confirming that he's been "working with different people here or there". Clearly, when it does happen, the comeback of Justin Timberlake will be massive. Whether it can physically be "Bigger Than The World", however, is something that only the scientists can answer...

I just think that all his songs are pre_packaged garbage.I mean really what's so good about anything he does? I really don't know whats wrong wih society(actually i feel that we can start to make society better by having more real music come back)ie.Zeppelin, Sabbath etc

There's rumors that JT will drop a new album in the summer. Let's hope! But I wouldn't want to get my hopes up, It's been 3 years and he's really focused on the song witting and producing. These song would be BIG if it were released.
Let's hope JT makes a big return to the music scene as a solo artist again soon.
