Judging by the press furore surrounding The BRITS today, someone out there already knows who's going to win and has decided to bet the farm on it. As you may have read, Paul Weller took some serious money over the weekend in the Best Solo Male category, prompting bookmakers to close the book, firstly on that category and now the entire competition. While some may argue that this throw's the integrity of the whole shebang into jeopardy, there are a handful of categories that are decided by the public, apparently.Voting has now closed for Best Breakthrough and Best Live Act and today the final five contenders for Best Single were announced, with Adele's "Chasing Pavements", "Hallelujah" by Alexandra Burke, "Dance Wiv Me" by Dizzee Rascal and Calvin Harris, Estelle and Kanye West's "American Boy" and "Hero" from the "X-Factor Finalists" all departing the shortlist. That leaves the following five tracks competing for the prize, which will be revealed on Wednesday at the ceremony at Earl's Court in London, with Girls Aloud said to be the favourites if you can find a bookies that will take your money...
