When Kanye Attacks

The difference here is that the rapper could actually go to prison for more than two years because he seemingly reacted outside the law to the persistent badgering and intrusion that accompanies such celebrity. He has been charged with assault, theft and vandalism following the fracas and his subsequent arrest at LAX in September. The L.A. District Attorney's Office have accused him and road manager Dan Crawley, who faces five years behind bars, of smashing camera equipment belonging to a member of the press and they will both have to answer the charges in court on April 14.
There seems to be fairly irrefutable evidence of the allegation because celebrity website TMZ were handily there to film the drama, which you can see below. This is not the first time Kanye has been in similar trouble. In fact, just two months after this incident he was arrested by British police following a confrontation with a snapper outside the Tup Tup Palace cocktail bar in Newcastle. No charges were filed in this case and it seems clear that West needs to try and control his temper. But can anyone honestly say he deserves to go to prison for this?

On the other hand... anything that makes Kanye West bugger off for a couple of years can only be a good thing. Hat's off to the papps! Perhaps prison will force feed the ego-maniac some much-needed humble pie!
