It's been pretty quiet in the world of Marilyn Manson in recent months. That was until last week, when a 15-year-old student in Louisiana shot himself in the head at Larose-Cut Off Middle School, after his teacher reportedly refused to hail the so-called God of F*ck at his demand. The boy is in a critical condition but it just goes to show that just over ten years since the Columbine tragedy, the artist formerly known as Brian Warner remains a controversial, destructive figure for many.Work was recently completed on his new album "The High End Of Low", a follow-up to 2007's "Eat Me, Drink Me". Speaking recently to Kerrang about it, Manson made it clear he still has much work to do. "I think my life definitely ended and began. The record sounds very final, but it's almost optimistic - though that feels like a strange word to use. It's a phoenix from the fire and a redemption resurrection."
