The UK has been the place to be in recent weeks for anyone hoping to catch a glimpse of the world's biggest music stars. Britney and Beyonce, for example, have been taking it in turns to tread the boards at the O2 Arena in London, with Spears trying her best to outdo her rival on the special guest front. Yes, film footage of her two sons mucking about backstage was leaked to universal gasps of cute amazement the other day, knocking all those who go on about the whole singing live trifle into a cocked hat.

Well, that's got nothing on Beyonce, quite frankly. Husband Jay-Z was in the crowd at her gig on Tuesday evening but the real surprise was reserved for later in the night, when George Michael emerged to duet on "If I Were A Boy". Perhaps he'd crashed his car nearby? Who knows but the former Wham! singer did give fans a real treat, trading lines with Mrs Z, who, judging by the clip below, seems to be entering her Tina "Welcome To The Pleasuredome" Turner period.
