When Pop Fans Attack!

The drama has been posted on YouTube and can be seen below, as can brother Liam's furious reaction, as he looks to plant a British fist in the face of the assailant. The band were midway through "Morning Glory" in their headline set when the stage was invaded by the unnamed man, who security guards apprehended and police later charged with assault. After a brief delay, Oasis and Noel are reported to have retuned to the stage to play six further songs, concluding with their traditional encore of The Beatles' "I Am The Walrus".
Local media reports on the incident, notably at The Globe & Mail newspaper, have inspired some pretty unsympathetic reactions from locals, as the more cynical amongst us might expect. Hydrogen Bob (probably not his real name) from Toronto, was not amused, moaning: "Never amazes me the selfishness of some ‘fans' at concerts who somehow think it is ok to disrupt a show being enjoyed by thousands."
However, Tobias Smith, also from Toronto, who was there, countered: "Perhaps the man was looking for a dance. Or maybe he wanted Liam to quit being such a lame performer and start singing on key. I think it was the first show I've been to that didn't entice 30,000 people to encore the band. It's too bad Canadian authorities can't hold Oasis for putting on a boring show." Well, maybe Noel should turn to famed foe Robbie Williams for moral support to his damaged ego. Because the same thing once happened to him...

What a pair of muppets, i wish i had seen it live!
