Liam Gallagher Is Finished

Noel describes his solo album as a collection of "psychedelic epics", obviously minus one key Oasis component. "I'm kind of hoping Liam might be arrested soon, and then I'll have time to see it through", he explained. He really needn't worry about any interference from his brother. Because anyone who saw Sunday's show must have noticed that Gallagher junior looks utterly finished. His vocals were atrocious throughout, spat out in ugly, hasty gobs, lacking the colour, sneer and shiiiiiiiiiiiiiine of Britpop yore. Liam's look wasn't much better either, roughly akin to one of the Kray twins in a state of excruciating, near fatal constipation, as he tried to force out every painful, tone deaf line.
It's not just me that noticed this either, judging by the following comments from fans on NME.com: "He sounded f*cking terrible last night, a shadow of his former best", "Just when Oasis finally get a good drummer, we discover the monkey upfront has irreparably wrecked his voice with cigarettes & alcohol", "Worst version of ‘Champagne Supernova' I've ever heard. Liam is out of tune, out of time and out of breath", "I am a big fan of Oasis but the demise of his vocals is quite sad". But don't take our word for it. Check-out the clips below, which show them performing "I Am Walrus" back in 1994 on "Later" and then at the Roundhouse. Oasis would surely sound better if they actually did get a walrus in.

They are still performing the same songs that they were performing over 10 years ago.
Oasis are still uncreative 'scruffy gits with noisy guitars', it has just taken people this long to realise.
Get off the stage Liam!
The sooner the better as far as I'm concerned, maybe that will give Noel sometime to write some music that isn't based around the beatles. It should be a refreshing change.
his voice sounds as good now as is did then maybe better.
go stick that in you walrus!
Granted it WAS bad for awhile, but it's actually improved A LOT.
I think he sounds excellent in both of those clips...
